HARARE — Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) Chairperson Michael Reza’s’ wife Chipo has died.
She was 63.
She was pronounced dead on Sunday at Borrowdale Trauma Centre where she had been rushed after collapsing at home.
Family spokesperson Owen Ranga Reza confirmed the development.
“Mrs Chipo Reza (63) collapsed at home on Sunday afternoon and was rushed to Borrowdale Trauma Centre, where she was pronounced dead on arrival,” he said.
The couple had four children and 11 grandchildren.
Mrs Reza was a respected leader within the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe having previously served as the Ruwadzano (Women’s Fellowship) chairwoman and was an active member of the 11am Steward and the Southerton Fellowship.
Mourners are gathered at the Reza family home in Glen Lorne, Harare.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
