Warriors begin Unity Cup preps in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM – The Zimbabwe national football team, the Warriors, have arrived in Birmingham, England, ahead of the Unity Cup international tournament.

Thirteen players reported for camp on Thursday, according to team officials.
The group includes locally based players and players based in South Africa.

The rest of the squad is expected to join the team in the coming days.

Zimbabwe is scheduled to compete against Nigeria, Jamaica and India in the four-nation tournament.

Team officials said preparations for the competition are underway.
