Harare- SPECIAL Presidential Investment Advisor to the President Dr Paul Tungwarara has saluted President Mnangagwa for planting the seed of unity in the country’s empowerment and development trajectory.
Addressing delegates at the launch of the Zanu PF Women’s League Empowerment Fund Monday, the Prevail group founder said President Mnangagwa’s clarion call for unity has inspired him personally and shaped the empowerment revolution being rolled out across the country.
The launch was attended by the two Vice Presidents.
“President Mnangagwa has enlightened me through his wisdom and actions. He has shown us that for empowerment and development to succeed , unity must come first,” Dr Tungwarara said.
He emphasised that the empowerment programmes being implemented nationwide draw directly from the President’s vision of harmony and collective progress.
“When we embarked on our whirlwind tours across the country,
“I held firmly to the President’s counsel that unity is the driver of empowerment.
” For Vision 2030 to be realised we must remain united. That is why when we meet our beneficiaries across the country , we carry the President’s message: Unity ahead, down with enmity. His seed of unity is what sustains this empowerment agenda,” he said.
Dr Tungwarara added that the empowerment initiatives are not about individual recognition but fulfilling or showboating but merely the President’s vision of inclusive and people-centred development.
“Each time we go out into communities we do so in the spirit of service not showmanship.
“We are implementing development in line with the President’s call for unity of purpose. The seed he has sown is yielding fruits,” he noted.
Through Prevail International, Dr Tungwarara has already mobilised over US$3 million loan fund for women across all 10 provinces.
The disbursement will be US$ 300 000 for each province another US$5000 000 will go to the Women’s league affiliate Youngwomen4ED led by ICT minister Tatenda Mavetera.
Prevail and other partners also secured farming inputs, tools and implements ahead of the 2025–2026 agricultural season.
In a first, Tungwarara facilitated transport logistics and hired 70 buses to ferry delegates from various provinces.
In addition, 5 960 delegates received travel and subsistence allowances to ensure inclusive participation.
Meals were also paid for at the Harare International Conference centre and he also availed hampers for every delegate
