HARARE – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has busted an illegal medicine manufacturing operation in ZIMRE Park, Ruwa, arresting a 23-year-old man and recovering equipment and products worth US$25000, Express Mail Zim can report.

The arrest was confirmed by the ZRP on Saturday.
“The ZRP confirms the arrest of Blessed Magagoyi (25) in connection with illegal manufacturing of medicines at an unlicensed premise in ZIMRE Park, Ruwa on 14/05/26,” the police said.
Officers are said to have recovered medicine manufacturing equipment, finished products, raw materials and packaging materials during the raid. The seized products included Honey Bean Medicines, Gut Restore Powdered Medicine, Cynocene Medicines, Fotal Harmony and Cardio Cene Capsules.
“The arrest led to the recovery of the medicine manufacturing equipment, finished medicinal products, including Honey Bean Medicines, Gut Restore Powered Medicine, Cynocene Medicines, Fotal Harmony and Cardio Cene Capsule, medicine making raw materials and packaging equipment with an estimated street value of USD 25 000.00,” the ZRP said.
Police said investigations are ongoing to establish the source of the raw materials and to locate a second suspect.
