The New Ambassador Hotel, part of the Rainbow Tourism Group (RTG), recently refurbished their premises, redefining the city’s hospitality landscape.

The US$500 000 upgrade has transformed the hotel into a contemporary landmark, offering 72 modern rooms and improved amenities.

The revamped hotel features reconfigured rooms with neutral color palettes, textured finishes, and upgraded bathrooms with walk-in showers and low-flow toilets.

The RTG Chief Executive, Tendai Madziwanyika, said the refurbishment is part of the group’s long-term strategy to modernize its assets and enhance the guest experience.

“As RTG, we view infrastructure investment as a strategic lever for growth, differentiation, and long-term value creation,” he said.

“We are not just upgrading hotels; we are elevating the guest journey, improving accessibility, embedding sustainability, and supporting Zimbabwe’s tourism and economic development agenda,” he remarked.

The hotel has also adopted sustainable measures, including LED lighting and water-conservation systems.

The hotel is part of RTG’s “Fun Under the Rainbow” promotion, offering flexible payment plans and holiday packages from 1 December 2025 to 15 January 2026.

The New Ambassador Hotel is located in the heart of Harare’s central business district, offering easy access to commercial, cultural, and social hubs.
