Mutare-Manica Diamonds missed a chance ouwit Highlanders after a 0-0 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League stalemate at Sakubva Stadium on Sunday.
The Gem Boys dominated possession and created multiple first-half chances but failed to convert, extending their winless run.
Highlanders absorbed early pressure and grew into the contest, with both sides settling for a point in front of what club officials called one of Sakubva’s largest crowds in recent seasons.
Manica Diamonds showed intensity and attacking intent from kickoff, pressing Highlanders high as they sought to impress home supporters and new club leadership.
The Mutare side carved out numerous scoring opportunities in the opening 45 minutes but lacked a clinical finish.
