Is the storm over now?
Harare- Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries founder Prophet Walter Magaya has been released from remand prison Wednesday after being granted US$3,000 bail by the High Court of Zimbabwe on Tuesday ,”Express Mail Zim can report.
The scandal ridden cleric had spend 12 days in custody symbolic of the 12 disciples and the 12 armed security personnel who were allegedly prowling for his re-arrest.
He also sent a private message that his incarcaration was a “heavy cross he was carrying ” and it “strengthened his spirit”.
Despite the bail ruling Tuesday, Magaya remained in detention amid reports that he had not yet paid the bail amount with sources indicating that a re-arrest on additional charges could be imminent.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), Magaya is facing 78 counts of fraud and five counts of rape.
