Firm Faith @ 20: Acappella for the mission set to lift Harare

Harare-The capital city is about to witness more than a concert. It’s a convocation in harmony!

Celebrated Zimbabwean acappella ministry Firm Faith Zimbabwe marks 20 years of “voices for the Message” on May 30 at the Hippodrome, Braeside, pulling together a regional choir of believers whose only instruments are their convictions.

Joining the celebration is South Africa’s trailblazing Reality 7 and the anointed ‘The Soul’ , Zambia’s disciplined ‘Rudo Acappella’ and Zimbabwe’s household name ‘Shower Power’ — a lineup that reads like a union session of Southern Africa’s finest vocal stewards.

For many Adventists, this isn’t just entertainment. It’s the sound of the Movement youth-led ministry, cross-border fellowship and the power of acappella to carry Scripture when pulpits can’t reach.

“Twenty years is Ebenezer hitherto the Lord has helped us,” says Firm Faith director Marshal Matsilele.

“We started as students with a mission. May 30 is about recommitting those voices to service, mentorship, and evangelism. The Hippodrome becomes a sanctuary that night.”

Preparations are at an advanced stage, with tickets moving fast as members, pathfinders and music ministries from across conferences rush to secure seats.
Expect tight harmonies, testimonies between sets and a spirit of unity that feels like camp meeting but in the capital.
