Afro-soul musician Feli Nandi and Gateway Stream Media have launched discounted ticket promotions ahead of A Night with Feli Nandi Vol. 9, a landmark live recording concert set for 14 August at the Harare International Convention Centre (HICC).

Under the theme ‘A Night with Feli – Fill Up HICC’, organizers say the campaign is aimed at making the show accessible and driving attendance for what they call one of the biggest local music events of the year.

As part of the deal, fans who purchase selected items at participating MWOS FC branches can buy tickets for US$8.

Students will pay US$5 upon presentation of a valid student ID. The student tickets are available exclusively at Rainbow Towers Hotel & Conference Centre and KwaNandi Restaurant.

Gateway Stream Media Manager Elton Kurima said the promotions are meant to remove financial barriers.

“This concert belongs to the fans who have supported Feli Nandi throughout her journey.

We wanted to remove barriers and create affordable opportunities for more people to experience this historic occasion,” Kurima said.

He added that the goal is to fill HICC with a world-class production.

“Our goal is to fill HICC and create an atmosphere worthy of a live recording of this magnitude.

We are investing in outstanding sound, spectacular visuals and an unforgettable entertainment experience,” he said.

The build-up includes a nationwide tour by Feli Nandi to drum up support ahead of the HICC date.

The multi-award-winning songbird has grown into one of Zimbabwe’s leading Afro-soul and Afro-fusion acts since her breakout.

Other hits in her catalogue include Mubayei which features The Unveiled, Ndoona iwe, Unotyei and Ndobatirira.

Standard tickets remain at US$10 and VIP US$30. Tickets are available at Rainbow Towers, MedOrange Pharmacies, KwaNandi Restaurant, and online at events.gatewaystream.com.

Organizers have urged fans to take advantage of the limited offers.
