Harare- Discovery Ambulance Services (DAS) will hold its Ambulance Technician Graduation Ceremony Friday morning marking a significant step forward for Zimbabwe’s emergency health care infrastructure.
The event will honour the successful completion of training by a new cohort of ambulance technicians.
Health experts hailed this development as a catalyst for improved health service delivery across the nation.
“As the health sector we welcome this development as the graduates will strengthen the country’s emergency response capacity, helping to reduce response times and enhance pre‑hospital care in both urban and rural areas.
“These technicians are now equipped to provide life saving interventions that directly support Zimbabwe’s health system,” said a health expert .
The training aligns with national efforts to expand access to emergency medical services and improve overall health outcomes.
The organization has also embarked on philanthropic initiatives and it’s CSR programs include free first aid workshops, mobile clinics and disaster relief deployments, all aimed at uplifting underserved populations and supporting the nation’s healthcare framework.
