Harare- YOUTHFUL entrepreneur Tanya Rushesha has been named one of Africa’s most promising young women leaders, securing a spot on Fortune Africa Magazine’s prestigious Top 40 Under 40 Women’s List.
The recognition celebrates exceptional women from across the continent who are making a mark in business, politics, philanthropy, and innovation. Tanya, known for her sharp intellect, leadership acumen, and rising influence, joins other outstanding women such as Uganda’s Minister of State for Minerals, Phiona Nyamutoro, and Princess Sakhizwe of Eswatini.
In a statement congratulating her, Darlington Chiwara, Chairman of the African Economic Empowerment Wealth Fund, described Tanya as “a hard worker who truly deserves this recognition.”
Khumbu Malinga, General Manager of Apex Advisory Group, added, “Tanya is an inspiration to young women across Africa. Her discipline and drive are shaping a new narrative for the African woman.”
Also weighing in was Kuzivakwashe Mtandiro of the Bulawayo Business Network, who expressed pride in Tanya’s achievements. “As a fellow Zimbabwean and woman in business, I’m incredibly proud of what Tanya has accomplished. That she is the daughter of our Defence Minister, Hon. Oppah Muchinguri, makes this honour all the more inspiring for young girls in Zimbabwe.”
The Fortune Africa 40 Under 40 Women list is an annual celebration of rising female leaders whose influence and impact are helping shape Africa’s future.
