HARARE – Mr Nakamba, the blade wielding barber at Vintage Barber Shop in Newlands, is about to swap his clippers for car keys after businessman and philanthropist Wicknell Chivayo populay known by his moniker Sir Wicknell pledged to buy him brand new wheels in the form of a Mercedes-Benz C200 for a cut above the rest.

Vintage Barber also has boasts of high end market with clients like Chief J.

While most clients pay $15 for a trim, Chivayo says his head is ‘premium grade’ .

Hanzi 15 dollars hair cut ini hangu ndine munyama kwese he charges me 400 he says musoro wangu MUHOMBE 😂🤣,” he posted.

After 1 year and 5 months without a blessing, Nakamba’s patience finally paid off. “Congratulations haunga gere MBADA for 1 year 5 months worega ku komborerwa. Asangana ne FRIDAY Mukomana,” Chivayo wrote.

So forget the barber’s chair for now, Nakamba’s next stop is the driver’s seat, rolling fresh in a Merc thanks to his high-rolling client. Talk about a shave that cuts straight to the fast lane.
