Harare- City Parking Pvt Ltd has reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and ethical customer care, with frontline staff upholding accountability in handling public property.
This comes after Parking Marshal Pheobe Makusha this week recovered and surrendered a wallet containing cash, bank cards and keys belonging to Misheck Gowere in Harare’s CBD.
Makusha picked up the wallet while on duty at Jazz 105, opposite Nations Hardware. In line with company procedure, she immediately reported the find and logged it with the customer care office for safekeeping.
City Parking has since issued a public notice advising the owner to collect the wallet at Room 306, 3rd Floor, Trafalgar Court, Julius Nyerere Way.
“All lost items recovered by our marshals are documented and processed through official channels to ensure they reach the rightful owners,” the company said.
The firm said the incident shows its frontline staff’s adherence to ethical conduct and demonstrates its core values of transparency, integrity and service to the public.
