HARARE – The Bard Global Finance Institute (BGFI), a prominent Africa-based global finance research and consulting institute, has officially launched its inaugural financial magazine, “Finance Africa Quarterly,” Express Mail Zim can report.

This new publication is positioned to be a pivotal voice in African finance and fintech, aiming to address long-standing information asymmetries and illuminate the continent’s diverse economic opportunities for a global audience.
The introduction of “Finance Africa Quarterly” but confirms BGFI’s commitment to delivering comprehensive and insightful analyses of African economic conditions.
Historically, perceptions of African economic development and investment have often been shaped by generalizations of risk, frequently obscuring the specific, high-potential opportunities within various sectors.
BGFI was established to bridge this critical knowledge gap, offering specialized macroeconomic advisory services to both international institutional investors and continental entities seeking to expand across African markets.
“Our objective is not to diminish the inherent risks in frontier markets but to provide them with appropriate context,” a BGFI representative stated.
“We firmly believe that informed capital is transformative capital.”
The magazine serves as the flagship of BGFI’s three-tiered publication strategy, which also encompasses “The Africa Finance Insights” for in-depth explorations of investment themes and “AfriFin Analytics” for rigorous econometric and fundamental analysis.
The inaugural issue of “Finance Africa Quarterly” presents a curated collection of insights that capture the dynamic landscape of African finance. Featured topics include the structural evolution of Botswana’s diamond industry, the financial realities of critical mineral funding in Zimbabwe, infrastructure challenges confronting global technology firms such as Starlink and the ongoing transformation within corporate treasuries across the continent.
These analyses are framed not merely as developmental narratives but as detailed examinations of investable frontiers, designed to empower readers with the knowledge to make strategic, high-yield investments that contribute to Africa’s economic advancement.
