Harare- ZANU PF Harare Provincial Political Commissar, Cde Voyage Dambuza, has declared that all logistical arrangements are in place for the highly anticipated CAB 3 Thank You Rally, scheduled to take place at Epworth High School Sunday.
The event, which is being billed as a massive celebration of unity, is intended to express the ruling party’s profound gratitude to the masses for their overwhelming support during the Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3 (CAB 3) process.
Cde Dambuza dismissed any speculation about the event’s viability, insisting that the rally is a testament to the revolutionary party’s deepening roots in the capital.
He said that the rally is not merely a political gathering but a culmination of a victorious journey where the people of Harare demonstrated their unwavering loyalty to the Second Republic’s developmental agenda .
“The Thank You Rally is a non-negotiable declaration of our gratitude. We are calling upon every member of the party and the general populace of Harare to converge at Epworth High School in their masses
“We are celebrating the resounding voice of the people who came out in their thousands to endorse CAB 3, which is the heartbeat of our national trajectory and a legacy of stability and progress for our beloved Zimbabwe.”
Cde Dambuza took a swipe at detractors who have tried to undermine the CAB 3 process, saying that the overwhelming turnout during the public hearings was a clear signal that citizens are ready for institutional democracy and uninterrupted development.
He reiterated that the rally will also serve as a platform to thank the general citizenry for rejecting what he termed “toxic populism” championed by the opposition.
“I want to commend our members and the general citizenry for their participation in the CAB 3 hearings, which was a very clear message to the world that Harare is ZANU PF to the core and we stand four-square behind our President’s developmental agenda,” said Cde Dambuza.
In a stern warning to those he described as “political fly-by-nights,” Cde Dambuza stated that the ruling party remains the only vehicle capable of delivering development and stability.
He said that the CAB 3 Thank You Rally is a moment of unity where all party cadres must display discipline and ideological clarity.
“We are not just celebrating, we are reinforcing the message that we are one unit. If you think you can bring factionalism into Harare Province, you are in for a rude awakening.
“We move as one unit, under one leader, and this rally is our collective victory lap.”
Cde Dambuza further declared that the celebration of the CAB 3 process is a celebration of sound policies that will ensure economic growth and food security, dismissing opposition narratives as hollow rhetoric.
He insisted that the development projects currently being rolled out in Epworth and other parts of Harare are a direct result of the prevailing peace and stability.
“We are here to say thank you to the people of Epworth and Harare at large. This rally is a testament to the unbreakable bond between the party and the people.
“Come one, come all, to Epworth High School. Let us fill the venue to capacity to show the world that we are united behind the vision of our President.”
Cde Dambuza also confirmed that the party has made extensive transport arrangements to ensure that no one is left behind.
“We have made sure that transport is readily available at the usual pick-up points right across Harare, from Warren Park to Mbare, ensuring that our members and the general populace can attend without any hindrance,” said Cde Dambuza.
The rally at Epworth High School is expected to draw a massive crowd as the party seeks to consolidate its gains following the successful conclusion of the CAB 3 hearings.
Residents have been urged to turn out in their numbers to witness what is expected to be a historic event celebrating the unity and progress of the Second Republic .
