HARARE– Veteran politician and ZANU PF Elders Council member Didymus Mutasa was a guest of President Emmerson Mnangagwa at State House on Friday.
The 90-year-old former ZANU PF secretary for administration shared a lighter moment with the President in the presence of Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda and Chief Secretary to the Office of the President and Cabinet Martin Rushwaya, among other dignitaries.

Mutasa was presented with a Ford Everest to boost mobility in his advisory role in party structures.
He was readmitted into ZANU PF earlier this year after President Mnangagwa opened the door for his return following years in the political wilderness.
Mutasa was expelled from the party in 2015 during the First Republic. Since then, he had been domiciled at his farm in Rusape, where neighbours reportedly said “it was cold out there”.
